Creating Your First Article



Help articles are the core of your support center. Here's how to create one.

Step 1: Navigate to Articles



Go to Admin → Knowledge Base → Articles and click + New Article.

Step 2: Fill In the Details



  • Title — clear and specific (e.g., "How to Reset Your Password")
  • Category — select the relevant category
  • Slug — auto-generated from title, but you can customize it


  • Step 3: Write the Content



    Use the markdown editor to write your article:

  • ## for main headings
  • ### for sub-sections
  • 1. 2. 3. for numbered steps
  • - bullets for lists
  • code for technical terms
  • link text for links


  • Step 4: Add a Preview



    Write a 1-line summary. This appears in search results and the help center listing.

    Step 5: Publish



    Click Save. The article is immediately available in:

  • Your public help center
  • Widget search results
  • AI auto-response matching


  • Writing Tips



  • One article = one topic
  • Start with the most common customer question
  • Use screenshots for visual steps
  • Keep paragraphs short (2-3 sentences)
  • End with a "Still need help?" link to your ticket form
